After passing through old roads and paths of woodlands you reach “Val Calanna” where 1992 the braided lava flows began to flow in to keep the lava from flowing towards the village Zafferana. You will reach the famous “Ilice di Carrinu”, a beautiful large and old tree about 700 years old. After a short photo stop you ride in direction Milo, where you will reach the beautiful vineyards “Barone di Villagrande” and enjoy a wine tasting with typical sicilian snacks.

Afterwards you will discover on horseback the vineyards in the surroundings, and you continue to ride through chestnuts and oak forest before you will reach your starting point of your excursion.
