We create unique experiences for you, immersing you in the authentic spirit of Sicilian life, its folklore and its traditions. Our experiences will transport you to the most enchanting places in Agrigento: the majestic Valley of the Temples; the country hillsides of Akragas, which bear testament to the way of life of an ancient and rich Greek colony, and where you can indulge in the delicacies of local food and wine while taking in the pure country air; the historic town centre of Arab origin, with its narrow, winding alleys and small staircases, steeped in culture, and in which you will find many churches, monasteries, theatres and ancient temples, amidst the charming, everyday scenes of clothes hanging out to dry and elderly people sitting on their front porches, happy to exchange a friendly chat with you!; the varied coastline that changes form and colours at every turn, from the wide sandy beaches reminiscent of the African sea, to white marl cliffs, one in particular standing out above the rest for its exquisite natural beauty: the Scala dei Turchi.

The Valley of the Temples
The splendid Valley of the Temples in Agrigento is the largest archaeological park in the world. Its 1,300 hectares are home to more than 10 Doric temples, shrines and necropolises, as well as the famous Kolymbetra Garden with its hypogea, the ruins of the Greek theatre, the agora, the Roman-Hellenistic quarter and the walled fortifications. Surrounded by an agricultural landscape of exceptional beauty, consisting mostly of centennial olive trees and almond trees, it benefits from a magnificent view of the Mediterranean Sea. It is no mean feat that since November 1997 the archaeological area of Agrigento has been included by UNESCO in its World Heritage List.
Thanks to its rich history, art and outstanding natural beauty, this site has been renowned since ancient times. Many intellectuals, from writers of the classical age to artists and travellers of the 1800’s have penned their thoughts in countless memoirs. Goethe in particular stands out for his love of Sicily.
«To have seen Italy without having seen Sicily is not to have seen Italy at all, for Sicily is the clue to everything.» […]
«The purity of the contours, the softness of the whole, the peaceful dissonance of the colours, the harmony between sky, sea, and earth. He who has seen it will not forget – for the rest of his life».
(J.W.Goethe, “Italian Journey”, 1817).
